Born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, Miranda is a GBHS alumni of 2017 and earned her BS in Elementary Education at James Madison University where she marched as a member of the Marching Royal Dukes Drumline. Miranda has worked as a Preschool teacher since 2021 and just moved back to the 757 after living in the Shenandoah Valley for the past 8 years where she spent time after school as the percussion instructor at Waynesboro High School.
During her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, and listening to local live music. She currently works at the Children’s Learning and Research Center at Old Dominion University and is thrilled to begin work with the GBHS Marching Wildcats this upcoming school year!
