Concert Performance Attire

Dress Code

Concert attire guidelines

Students are asked to select their concert attire from the following options. Please read carefully and ensure your student is prepared for all upcoming performances.

Option 1

  • ✓ Black dress pants or tux pants
  • ✓ Black belt or suspenders
  • ✓ Black socks
  • ✓ Black dress shoes
  • ✓ Long sleeve black dress shirt or tux shirt with a black tie or bow tie — no patterns on any items
  • ✓ Dress shirts may be black or white if wearing a black tux jacket
Optional Black vest or cummerbund

Option 2

  • ✓ Black skirt (below the knee, preferably to the floor) or black dress/palazzo pants
  • ✓ Black blouse with ¾ length sleeves or longer — no designs or patterns
  • ✓ Black dress shoes

Wind Ensemble Students

Wind Ensemble students may also wear a black suit or tux jacket that is their own, or they can borrow one from our uniform closet.

Purchasing Your Attire

Concert attire is not ordered through the band program. Students may purchase these items from any department store or online retailer. We hope this notice provides enough time to ensure your student has the proper attire ready for our concerts this year.
