All District Band Auditions will be held Saturday, December 10th at Indian River High School. Please review the materials below to assure you register at the correct time.
Also, please take a moment to review the rules for the audition room. No talking, cell phones or any scale sheets are allowed in the room.
District Band Information
All District Band auditions will be held at INDIAN RIVER HIGH on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10th. Audition times will be posted later, but plan for morning to mid-afternoon.
All band students are eligible to audition. Registration is $7.50 per student.
Students that are accepted into District IV All District Band will participate in the event that is scheduled for all day Friday, February 3, 2017, and Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Grassfield High School
Students are allowed to audition on ONE INSTRUMENT ONLY, with the following exceptions: Piccolo & Flute, Bb Clarinet & Eb Clarinet, Tenor Trombone & Bass Trombone. The audition fee must be paid for each instrument on which a student auditions. Percussion audition will be $7.50 total.

Congratulations to the Marching Wildcats for their outstanding performances at the VBODA Marching Band Assessment and Tallwood Invitational!
The ensemble earned a Superior Rating at their Marching Band Assessment held at Landstown High School.
Later that day, the Marching Wildcats completed the competitive portion of their season by earning best General Effect, Music and Color Guard in class AA and finished in second place in their class.
The Marching Wildcats final performances will be this Friday at our home football game vs. Hickory. The band will celebrate their senior class and will perform a halftime show with the GBMS 8th grade band members, cheerleaders and the GBMS Color Guard Club.
